Over 500 children took part in the Vegetable Takeover in the Mall, Walthamstow, London.
Ten days of the Easter Holiday turned a space in the shopping centre in to a vegetable loving community space with colourful workshops all inspired by vegetables.

Here is the scrapbook of photos from the activities we got up to. To see more photos you can visit our facebook page.
Beginning our Taste Adventure. Every vegetable has different colour, shape, smell, texture and sends our imagination to new places.
Everyone is excited to share their experience.
There’s lots to discuss
Wow…what a taste adventure. So many colours, so many different places, some familiar, some far away in space or under the sea.
Hairdos and googley eyes brought potatoes and brussel sprouts alive.
This brussel sprout is off to the park
We observe our vegetable as we turn it into a puppet. How will it breathe, walk and communicate?
Hanging out altogether on the flying radish
Zero gravity hangout
Many children took part. And everyday was different. Always full of smiles!
